The raw water production of Serra Azul system is very large, on the other hand, the electrical energy consume of the system represents a considerable amount over the installation operational cost. This work is based on study of COPASA MG; which goals to study the viability of enchanting the Serra Azul´s dam characteristics by means of using Small Hydro Power (SHP).
