The electric motors characteristics curves digitalisation is necessary for building a database for process automation and for technical and economic studies of electrical energy use for motive force. The curves digitalisation it is possible by the curves in figure or equations format storage. The equations manipulation allows the automation of the analysis process rather than the handle of illustrations database. The SACRID software developed by UFV was used for characteristics curve digitalisation of three phases electric motors from 0,5 to 500 cv. With the curves data co-ordinates was generated regression equations. In order to improve the correlation was simulated the cartesian axes rotation that optimise the correlation coefficient. It was used a 6^th degree polynomial as regression model. With the axes rotation it was possible to get regression coefficients R² always larger than 0,98.
