Abstract

The article seeks to analyze the influence of electric parameters such as load factor, peak consumption, peak demand and non-peak demand, when the option is from conventional rate to season rate, in a industry producing tapioca flour. Through a detailed study of the company´s daily operation, where it was obtained the installed load and the equipments´s operation hours, it was possible to preview the consumptions and demands and also the peak load factor. A simulation was made to obtain the average price of the electricity consumed, as well as the reduction of the value, in conventional rate to hour-reason rate, blue and green, where we can conclude that: in conventional rate to blue rate, the company will have a value raise in 7,23% and to green rates, the raise will be 9,64%; to make the rate change economicably possible, it is necessary a demand reduction in the company peak.
