This work presents, by means of conducted measurements, the influence of voltage harmonic content on nonlinear loads. To do this, tests were made with square wave, modified square wave and sinusoidal inverters, with the purpose of analyzing their performance to feed compact fluorescent lamps (PL). The analysis of the performance is made both in steady-state and also regarding the start of the lamps.
