This paper propose to conciliate sanitation with energy generation using pig culture effluents. Pig culture uses electrical energy and LPG for operation and for animals thermal comfort, because during summer matrix need cool environment and the newborn pigs need heating. Pig culture effluents, when anaerobically treated, produce biogás that may be used in co-generation systems, producing at the same time chilled water and fresh air, hot water and warm air and electric power, decreasing, significantly the operational costs. The up-flow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) reactor for treating organic waste water, can be optimized to produce biogas and decrease Chemical Oxigen Demand. In Brazil there are more than 38 millions pigs producing the same amount of manure of 170.000.000 humans, it means, a daily potential of 2.2550.000 m3 of biogas. This paper describes a system that uses the produced bio gas in a system composed by four reactors, together with solid-liquid-gaseous stage separators in vortex flow and with solar energy heating.
