Recognized for its great hydraulical potential, Brazil comes developing an ample process of feasibility study and implantation of small hidroelectric exploitations, using powers between 1 and 12000 mW. However, there are regions that don´t have the linked system of electricity transmission, formed by small communities that depend on central offices diesel to get light, an energy source that prejudice the environment. As alternative energy, the small power plant they have demonstrated to be a model to be implanted, contributing for the agricultural electrification with powers up to 100 kW, in comparison with other energy sources, for example, eolic, solar and biomass. In this work, is is developed an economic and technique feasibility study and for the implantation of the small power plant, located in the city of Delfim Moreira, in the south of the State of Minas Gerais. It is realized, too, a comparative analysis of the same one in relation to the installation of electric net or in relation to the other alternative sources of energy.
