In Paraná State there is a availability large of biomass fuels (pinus and eucaliptus wood) that is applied for industries as primary energy source for process steam generation. that biomass could is applied in industries for electric own generation and process steam with application of the steam turbine (cogeneration) The work purpose was made a case study of distributed generation energy in an Agrodustry of Cascavel city, a food industry that lowers 180.000 birds a day. A steam cycle was proposed to of 3.000 kW using as source primary residues of the woodship of pinnus. The cost of electric power production was compared with the normative value stipulated by ANEEL.
