In the State of Pará, the great number of isolated rural communities without access to the nets of eletrical energy transmission, harms in a decisive way its economic development. Actually is common in these communities to use electricity derived from fossil fuel burns, that results in emission of gases that causes the green house effect, making this form of obtaining of energy enviromentally undesirable. In that way to search for new energy alternatives that come to supply those communities needs, and then, minimize the environmental damages is one of the strategies of the state development. Resources of production data of residues of biomass, indicated an annual production of 233.457ton of cocoa peel, 93.521ton of açaí pit and 528.175ton of serragem in the State of Pará. The briquetes production is one of the best alternatives of use of the biomass potential, because of it, we can storage these residues, taking precautions of the shortage in the inter-crop periods and we will have conditions of improving its termophysics characteristics. The production process range since the choice of qualyfied raw materials until the analyses of the final product to verify if its durability and characteristics in its burns, where the briquete calorific power is obtained and the burns residual product is analyzed to avoid environmental contamination. An optimization of this process through the briquetes produced from composed residues can make possible the use of several raw materials with reduced additions of materials of excellent energy answer. With this we will also avoid the economic dependence of an only raw material type.
