The article presents the preliminary results of the study of energy efficiency of a system of solar heating and refinery gas (LPG - liquefied petrol gas) for pasteurization and cheese production in unit of bain-marie of 300 liters of capacity of milk. It was observed that, with a conventional equipment of heating by gas and solar collectors, there are great variations of consumption of gas and the losses of heat are very big. With these results the research will continue being developed with the objective of modifying as much the conventional system as his operation, for like this to obtain an economy in the consumption of gas of at least 50%.
