In the last years, the national milk sector, despite the huge and representation of milk in the Brazilian economic scene, has passed for diverse difficulties, ahead of the high productive cost and low price of market of milk. Ahead from this scene, about 1/3 of small milk producers they had been excluded from the national market which had the difficulties of adaptation to the new competitive scene. Of this form, this objective work to act together to the fixed cost of production, as for the cost with the consumption of electric energy in the processes of cooling and pasteurization, evaluating the potential of rationalization of electric energy for final use, in this two process, in the dairy farm type "A" in Campinas area. In the first part, it is presented a survey leases in loco of the consumption of electric energy in the processes of cooling of milk and pasteurization, and, in the second part, two objectives are considered: to profit the heat of condensation of the refrigeration's system of the ice bank for pre-heating the water of the tank of hot water accumulation set in motion the electric resistance and; pumping of the refrigeration's system of the ice bank with the use of deriving electric energy of an electric generator the bio-gas of biodigesters.
