Abstract

Considering the necessity to expand the installed national capacity of generation, as well as, to diversify it, the article investigated definitive aspects of the Institutional Environment where the electric energy commercialization by the sugarcane sector is inserted. Positive points in proposal of governmental energy policy for incentive this activity had been observed, as well as, the necessity of its improvement.
