The introduction of distributed generation (DG) units in the electric power system has been surrounded by many promises and uncertainnesses. Hence, new simulation tools are needed in orther to assess the issues and the benefits related to the connection of DG in the electric power system. In this paper will be presented and simulated a model of a microturbine, a new and emerging distributed generation technology.
