In this work the analysis of the viability of implantation of a natural gas cogeneration system in a bovine slaughterhouse is carried out. Among the studied configurations there are the current plant and the modified plant that allow the use of natural gas. For evaluation of the performance, energetic and exergetic analyses for each one of the configurations are carried out. It's also accomplished a thermoeconomic analysis that makes possible to evaluate the reflexes of the investment and combustible on the composition of the cost of products.
