This paper has for objective to present the flow diagram of operation of a electricity generation system of based on the biomass integrated gasification fuel cell type PEMFC (Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell). The integration between the gasification and this fuel cell type, consists of the gas methane (CH4) reforming contained in the synthesis gas, the conversion of the carbon monoxide (CO), and cleaning of the gaseous flow through a PSA system. The influence of the operation variables in the efficiency of the system gasification / PEMFC are discussed. It is made an estimate of energy efficiency of the system, with gas methane reforming and without gas methane reforming, it is ended that the second option is more interesting of the energy view point. Once in the first option the electric efficiency reaches 7,8% against 18,1% in the second option. The efficiency of the gasifier / PEMFC system with methane reforming is also compared to the system with small gas turbine, for a power variation the 100 kW up to 5000 kW.
