This article presents a discussion on the productive processes associated with the açai within the project "Model for Electric Power Enterprise in Isolated Communities in the Amazon - NERAM", financed by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development - CNPq. With the premise of global use of the fruit of the açaizeiro, all the stages of the processing are described. These stages comprise the extraction of the pulp, treatment of residues, drying of the açai seeds, and it use for power generation. Estimates of the proportions are described in mass of the fruit involved in the stages of the processes, from the pulp extraction till the final products, and characteristics of the generation equipments.
