Construction and demolition residues utilization in the soil-cement bricks manufacture is an environmentally sustainable alternative that preserves the not-renewable resources and enables the valorization of these residues, instead of simply throw in the nature. Moreover, the bricks of soil-cement do not pass for the trial of cooking, avoiding the deforestation and consequently the pollution of the air. In this work, were analyzed the influence of the concrete residues addition in the physicals and mechanics characteristics of soil-cement, looking at his application in the manufacturing of bricks press. The bricks were molded by means of a manual press, using dosages from soil native, soil more 20% of concrete residue, soil more 40% of concrete residue and soil more 60% of concrete residue, with the use of three tenors of cement, 6%, 8% and 10%, everybody relative the resultant mass of the mixture soil-residue. It the aim, in this way, was to propose technical solutions to reduce the soil-cement production cost, to improve the quality of the bricks and to generate conditions for use of this residue. The results obtained showed that the concrete residue addition to soil enhanced mechanical properties of the soil-cement, decreasing cost and improving manufacturing bricks pressed with a better quality, establishing an excellent alternative for application of this material.
