Resumo

The psychoanalytical method is not equivalent to the technical references clearly formulated about the technique. This fact inaugurates the possibility of constituting another methodological model, specific for the clinic of psychopathologies, and that has been chased by the classic psychiatry, referred to the trail and to the transmission of the practice through the transposition of the experience to the writing register, by means of the so called clinical monographs. Differently from classic psychiatrists, too worried about the classificatory generalization that erased the monographs produced, the methodological model that Freud strengthened preserves the singular manifestation of the patient and the clinical act, putting limits to the possibility of a reduction of the clinical method to a technique which would make the object universal and possibly applicable. But it is possible to extend the function of the monographs, by forcing them to express better, clarified by what came afterwards. But many questions are made to them: Who is the author of the monographs? What is transmitted about the clinical method by these writings? The monograph can be considered a literary expression?
