Abstract
We present a fragment of an exploratory objective case study that investigated the teacher conceptions regarding transfer in a teacher-student relationship and how such concepts are constructed by them. It was possible to recognize how some teacher's imaginary identifications may apply as bindings, whether in learning, or in relations with their students; also, that knowing how to work/deal with children who require special attention, as reported by Claudia, necessarily requires one should have good knowledge about subjective aspects present in a teacher-student relationship.
