Abstract

GALERA, Sueli Ap. Frari and LUIS, Margarita Antonia Villar. The neutrality principle as nurse - family interaction strategy. In Proceedings of the 8. Brazilian Nursing Communication Symposium, 2002, San Pablo (SP, Brazil) [online]. 2002 [cited 28 March 2024]. Available from: <http://www.proceedings.scielo.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=MSC0000000052002000100040&lng=en&nrm=iso> .

In view of the current emphasis on the family question, it became of interest to discuss the neutrality principle as nurse-family interaction strategy. This principle underlies the systemic approach to family nursing care, whose main instrument is the family interview . In this paper, we aimed to supply practical examples that could facilitate the understanding of the concepts as well as their applicability.

Keywords : family; nurse-family interaction.
