Information is an essential resource for realizing the communication process and is widely discussed as an element capable of leading persons and organizations towards the achievement of their goals. This study aimed to report on the implementation process of a computer system for the electronic scheduling of surgeries and their management directly from the surgery ward. The employed technology demonstrated its effectiveness since the information flow related to this sheduling was fast and reliable.
