Although often discussed in the nurse/patient relation, communication is a little approached issue in the nursing teacher/student relation The difficulty of the teacher can be observed in maintaining relations with the surrounding persons, in integrating with the student in class or in practice. Being a nursing teaching professional, my worry about the communication and interpersonal relations issue was the object of this study. We make a literature review with a view to understanding communication, identifying the significant factors in establishing interpersonal relations in order to facilitate interpersonal relations and learning by means of communication. The review indicates the need for larger teacher ability for capturing messages and interpreting them in order to transform reality.
