The Systematic Review (SR) and Meta-analysis (MA) are important methodological instruments for evidence-based research in medicine, nursing, and public health. This study gives a detailed description of the necessary steps for conducting SR and MA and presents elements that could be useful for its interpretation and understanding, in order to create factors that can be of help for its application in the health area.
