This study aimed to: describe undergraduate nursing students’ experience in using an educational game about cervical cancer prevention and verify its applicability in a group of pregnant women. It is a descriptive research carried out in a prenatal clinic at a maternity hospital in São Paulo, Brazil. The educational game consists of a collection of 30 cards with messages about gynecological health, Pap smear and risk factors for cervical cancer and was applied by nursing students. The comments and issues related to these 3 themes showed the women’s disinformation about important aspects in gynecological cancer prevention and the use of the game as a strategy that mobilizes and stimulates participation and results in an exchange of experiences between the pregnant women and student involved in the dynamics. The game also manifested the need to adapt the game to the pregnancy period and review the language of the messages and cards.
