This study was constructed on the basis of discussions about education that came up during the subject called "didactic-pedagogic formation" of the master's course at the Health Educational Technology Center - U.F.R.J., which is centered around discussing, creating, analyzing and understanding educational processes in the health area. The objectives were: to sensitize the student to seek for educational concepts; to provide an in-depth discussion, contributing to a deeper understanding about education; to analyze educational concepts on the basis of students' artistic production and to construct the educational concept on the basis of the subitems/subconcepts that were discussed. The setting was a room at NUTES. Participants were the teacher, regular master’s students and visiting students in the subject. The strategy was Cutting and Collage. The results were: Significant expressions originating from the activity of cutting and pasting, which appeared in the posters illustrated by the students. These gave rise to analytic categories: education and power, gender and technology. In other words, the used strategy revealed discussion and analyses about the subjects under debate. Finally we believe this study met participants’ expectations about the school and the teaching-learning process.
