The prejudiced speech, in Brazil, rarely appears as a direct expression of hostility or cultural depreciation, but it is subtle and concealed. The "big problem about engaging upon racism in Brazil consists in the eminence of its invisibility, since it is insistently denied and confused with class discrimination forms" (GUIMARÃES, 1999, p. 109). Denunciations against discrimination are made, but it is necessary concrete actions that provide tools to African descendants, since basic education, in order for them to fight on at every social area. For that to happen education becomes essential as one of the weapons of the fight for the movement of rupture and surpass of the differences historically built. If the school education has an important role in making that prejudiced rupture possible, through knowledge, what formation have their professionals to that transforming action? What about the African descendants teachers themselves? Who are them? How did they build their personal and professional trajectory? In which context was defined their conception of the world, men, knowledge, professional and personal relationship with co-workers? How does such conception interfere in their pedagogical practice?

Keywords : Teachers formation; African descendant teacher; Prejudiced; Basic education; Pedagogical practice.
