The experience of the research and of the Studies and Research in Social Pedagogy Group (CNPq) give us the possibility an educated and cultural process that occurs beyond the classrooms, propitiating knowledge and demanding a critical and reflexive posture front of several realities that are presented to us. That was the feeling and the conscience developed in the studies and Initiation Scientific Research occurred in the period of 2006-2007. The objectives of the research were: to analyze in a critical way the history of the Pedagogy Course and the insertion of the Social Pedagogy and Not-Formal Education in the "National Curricular Rule" ("Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais - DCN's") of this course; to raise data relating to Social Pedagogy experiences in Brazil; to identify the students' expectation of UEPG-PR Pedagogy course in relation of its area. The used research methodology was the qualitative appearing in critical analyzes of "MEC" documents in relation to the Vocational Training Policies of workers of education area; academic productions that treat of this theme. There were sent 49 questionnaires by internet for the researchers of Social Pedagogy in Brazil and 150 questionnaires applied with the students of UEPG Pedagogy course. The raised data show us that in the new "DCN's", the necessity of Educator's vocational training for acting in not-formal educational spaces is already recognized. In relation to the researchers of Social Pedagogy, we checked that they pointed as a great advance the congresses, meetings and discussions that are happening at national level, appearing the necessity of more organization of this work in our country. With the UEPG students, from the 103 questionnaires returned we checked that 72 students intended to act in educational formal spaces and 31 students, in not-formal spaces. The importance of spreading those experiences and of the obtained results goes with the moment that we are living in Brazil, in what concern to Social Pedagogy, witch, through the realized studies have appointed the necessity of professional formation. The results of this research show us that the Pedagogy Course has recognized the necessity of vocational training of this worker, otherwise treats an insufficient way aspects for this formation. The researchers conclude that the national setting demands an organization of the works developed in Not-Formal Education. All those checks go to the expectation of one that are graduating as Educators, taking into consideration that are growing the will of acting in not-scholar spaces. We conclude that the structure of the educational system is the same one a long time, and we perceive how much it is difficult its change, although the social demands are making to reflect current Education and its acts, seeking new perspectives of acting, showing that it ought to occur in more different spaces, because it have the liberation paper, since it happens in a responsibility and conscience way, as says the great educator Paulo Freire in his writs.
