This work has as objective to describe the social performance of the physical education professional in a Program of Physical Education (P.E.) to Elderly implanted at São Judas Tadeu University since 2002, that uses the physical activities as a pedagogical tool to arouse in elderly person the critical sense, autonomy, creativity, self-care and the capability of make choices when it's necessary. So, it was made an observation not systematized about the pedagogical practice of the educators from Senior Project. It was find out that the educative practice is based on verbal, emotional, cognitive and mainly body dialogue in order to subsidize the elderly to the analysis of the reality from expression and include them in the reflection experience and in individual and in group action. It is analyzed as theoretical a philosophical support that validate this practice occur in the mediation of this educative process.
