From the Contact Group for Social Education at USP began to reflect my practice as a social educator in several works that have already realized during my 10 years of militancy. This present study is one of these reflections on the light of questions raised by Paulo Freire and Graciane reflect experience with children and adolescents in the community of Paloma Ville, Jandira City, São Paulo Estate. In this paper i bring three points that were crucial to the event in this community of practice, the first skills, my historical development, the second meeting of my historical being with a group of children and adolescents and the third, building the practice from these two worlds. This reflect that build between the theoretical and practical makes me think more breadth in the field of action of the educator in the community from the perspectives of Paulo Freire, the identity of who is this teacher and how to build a project in certain communities such as Villa Paloma . The method I use refers to a case study through the records that I have this experience.
