Workers' Training is a theme that is present in the most current academical and political debates. It plays a very important role in educational, economical, business and social development in our environment. What's more, Lifelong Learning and Adult Learning are scientific disciplines that need to form the backbone of these educational processes. E-learning is a highly valued methodology as it centres on a type of learning that is based on experience. The training programmes for companies see this as an opportunity to adapt these activities to the characteristics of Adult Learning. This study will go deeper into these concepts and is focused on a quantitative investigation of a training programme for a company that has been taught using the e-learning methodology by one of the top entrepreneur associations in Spain. It is made up of four very different parts: In the first part we carry out an epistemological estimate of training for workers. This is followed by an estimate of training for employment in Spain: different initiatives related to training for employment, quantitative analysis of the programmes that were developed over the year in 2011, the number of training courses that took place, the people that took part in said courses, the teaching method used etc. The third section will look into the origins of the entrepreneur associations in Spain. Finally, it analyses a training programme for workers that has been developed by one of the principal Entrepreneur Associations in Spain. To produce this investigation, a bibliographical investigation into Training for workers, Adult learning and Continuous Training has been carried out. Subsequently, the methodology of quantitative cross section has been used to analyse the training programme of the Entrepreneur Confederation. It is based on the analysis of the questionnaires that are completed by the students when they complete any course related to Training for employment. 15.000 questionnaires have been analysed on the basis of 10 categories / dimensions.
