The current explanation results of a doctorate in education, from the University Portucalense, a case study, in the context of homeless people in the city of Porto, users of CAIS Association. The field of research develops in the Adult Education and Training, focusing on identifying and understanding the processes of learning and socio-professional integration of dubbed-risk groups, which are placed in Professional Training and Adult Education of the New program of Opportunities (PNO), funded by the Operational Program Human Potential in Portugal, where education is involved in community and social praxis of social pedagogy serving as a complementary tool, as a principle for the inclusion of social risk groups.
