This paper addresses the issue of health as a response to the structural crisis of capital, being enshrined in the productive restructuring process and politically marked by neoliberal ideology. It is a bibliographic research, in which we use the theoretical contributions by Mészáros, Alves, Antunes, Pimentel and Teixeira. We found that the productive restructuring of work intensifies its precariousness, affecting even more the health of the worker, who is immersed in a new and precarious work world. The effectiveness of actions against the bio-psychic socio-cultural suffering intensified by contemporary capitalism depends on the radical transformation of objective conditions.
