Abstract

The text isthe result of a bibliographic research and data collection concerning the health of workers of the automotive sector in Betim MG and nearby region. It includes concepts and discussions about the link between health and work, and mental health and work. It views potential impacts due to the productive restructuring in the 90s and the current economic context of the workers' health in Betim. The research shows an important aggravation of the workers' health in Betim and nearby region, a fact that is alarming considering the large number of symptoms reported by them.
