The present article brings to the quarrel elements that propitiate an understanding of the reality of the offensive unionism before the neoliberal one that if it restored in Brazil in the last decade of century XX and if it intensified in the first decade of the XXI, thus contributing for the deepening of the social inaqualities in the country and for the aggravation of the precarious conditions of health and security in the work. Leaving from there we point basic historical elements with respect to the understanding of the neoliberal hegemony and its expressions in Brazil, as well as its impacts in the form of syndical performance and its consequences for the diligent classroom as a whole. In this direction, the identification of the fields of performance and fights becomes primordial that determine the correlation of forces between capital and work, identifying and inhibiting, the the least, the exacerbação of the forms of exploration of the capital on the human work.
