This work intends to present a part of the results on the author's research about productive restructuring and workers' health on the Chicken's Agro-industrial sector. It will also point out some of the questions about mental suffering and the formation of the Quality Control Circles (CCQ's) on the factory researched, which were obtained by interviews. It was from them that was possible to reconstruct the factory environment and, thus, analyze the work conditions and physical and mental wear filed to the workers of this sector. The option of picturing the mental suffering and the CCQ's formation is based on the fact of being relevant subjects on the researcher's doctorate work, and that reflect a kind of suffering more concealed and many times denied not only by the direction of the factories, but also by the employees themselves. However, the difficulty in obtaining data of this kind of suffering does not make it less usual than the physical ones, being both highly visible on the Chicken's Agro-industry production line. The difficulty in the analysis of mental suffering may be understood also by the assimilation of the productive restructuring philosophy in part of the workers' discourse, which incorporates the CCQ's participation as a form of learning and personal and professional growth. Thereby, a great part of the factors related to the sickening cause is prerogative to the modern Chicken's Agro-Industry working organization. The endless quest for production growth, the total quality, the formation of the Quality Control Circles, the constant supervision and goals of production to be reached are widespread among workers as necessary instruments for the realization of this sector's work. In this way, the discourse is absorbed by the workers who look forward to, frantically, reach the production's goals stipulated by the board of the company. The physical and mental sickening is, altogether, denied by the company as a resultant of the labor's organization³.
