This paper presents the results of a study that sought to understand the illness in metallurgical workers come from his own work, emphasizing working conditions and their impact on the health of workers in the municipality of Betim in Minas Gerais, from the historical perspective of the metallurgical the relationship of their work and physical illness, as well as its double journey housework at home. Such research has offered to future psychologists elements of reflection on the activities that make up the practice of these workers and the reflections present in the same health.
