The aim is to contextualize the worker's health and the challenges faced in the implantation of CEREST, in the city of Uberaba. The role of the Unified Health System is highlighted in the outright assistance to worker's health and in the challenge to act in the perspective of preventing and promoting heath in an integrated way, articulated with other public agencies, working as a net. In the light of what has been observed, a need for more information and appropriation of new references in relation to health, illness and work was observed, understanding them as a dynamic and social process, emphasizing the importance of participation and involvement of all parties involved.
