The article show a brief analysis of the documentary A Ponte, made from the experience of NGO Casa do Zezinho, located on the outskirts of the southern area of São Paulo city. The work seems to have intended to propose a discussion about segregation and social contrasts produced by the Pinheiros river bridge, guide symbolic split between the suburb and the rich area around Avenida Engenheiro Luis Carlos Berrini. However, according to scenes, the documentary looks like just to show the philanthropy developed by the institution, beyond the reproduction of ideological representations about the poor young people, linked to an education that seeks to insert them into the labor market and a teaching bound on practical activities related to day-by-day, far from a critical and reflective thought able of allow the political emancipation of youth.
