The Capão Redondo is a territory of the southern outskirts of the city of São Paulo. It became known at the end of the twentieth century through the "active voice" of groups of rappers like the Racionais MC's. The voices of rappers are constituents and constituted by the way of life of the local residents. Racism and death emerge as elements that form the social experience of the community, with greater impact for their youth. These are facts inscribed into the process of subjectivity formed by historic and structural conflicts lived mainly by young blacks. Anti-black genocide is represented in the musical discourse of the rappers Racionais. Currently, the neighborhood is movement for Sarau Vila Fundão that hosts parties on their streets. In continuity with the hip hop movement (SILVA, 2011), the sarau - allied to the "active voice" of the rappers - renews and adds to the process of emerging political and cultural struggles into streets of the Capão Redondo.
