The purpose of this communication is to make a critical reading of the version made by rappers Criolo Doido, Rael Rima and Terra Preta of the songs of Vinicius de Moraes, presented in the programme aired by Rede Globo, Som Brasil: "O morro não tem vez", "Samba da Bênção" and "Canto de Ossanha". Sustained by the theorical architectural of Mikhail Bakhtin, in addition to theoretical reflections of Luiz Tatit on the semiotics of song, seeks to understand how the reinterpretations of new senses, making touch new values invested in those songs, through the change of musical genre, intonation, in addition to the own rhymes and interventions of rappers whose lines bring the songs to the socio-historical present, giving new senses to the songs composed for almost 50 years ago.
