The Project consists of educational and training cooperation actions between the Office of the Ministry of Education of the city of Praia, the Polo II elementary school and the Emilie de Villeneuve elementary schoool in Sao Paulo, started on May, 2011. We covered three key components: Exchange of letters between students, collecting books for school libraries inauguration of Cape Verde and teacher training. The exchange of handwritten letters took place between the 4th grade students of both countries, involving a number close to 200 students and focused on the statement of cultural and historical aspects. For the inauguration of the school library were collected about 1000 books on campaigns by organized by the students of college Emilie. In order to receive the care and proper use of the material, teachers of the college Emilie de Villeneuve ministered a lecture on "Reading and storytelling in everyday school" for 600 teachers from Santiago Island. In Brazil, the Symposyum sponsored by the Blue Network of Education with the participation as a listener of three managers of Praia. The project remains under development and expansion of participants in the above mentioned.
